The Combo Cable/Connector design eliminates the requirement of individual cables for connecting the Keyboard, Monitor and Mouse ports from the PC to the KVM switch, which further reduces the cable clutter. The DG-KB4208D can be cascaded with seven additional DGKB4208D or DG-KB4216D. This cascading will enable usage of a single set of Keyboard, Monitor and Mouse to control upto 120 PCs/Servers. The KVM switch provides an audible indication whenever there is a switching of PCs/servers. This acts as a confirmation for the user. The front panel of the KVM includes a LED display unit for port status monitoring and certain configuration. The DG-KB4208D has a rack mountable design for easy installation in a standard 19" rack. This makes the KVM switch an ideal device for a server farm/data center environment. The DG-KB4208D is usable out-of-the-box. Only the KVM cables need to be connected for the operation of the switch. No software installation or configuration required for normal operation.
